you reach here because you blogging or just accidentally click on my URL. well, if you blogger or internet marketer, i understand that you use you pc for long time period. thus you must thank to you pc. (*when i say pc this may refer to desktop, laptop, apple Macbook) how to say thank you?:(

what i’m going to say was do maintenance to you pc. pc are like human too. unfortunately you threat it as a robot. am i correct?

this is what i do when do maintenance:

Basic:

01. do scan disk

this is to ensure you disk, application system and operating system are in good manner. also ensure the file structure, folders, registry and more importantly file system (FAT or NTFS). if you do install and uninstall program, this may cause of inconsistent behavior of entire system.

i recommend you to do full scan disk once a week. you can do this during lunch break or whenever you not use you machine.

02. defrag

there is possible how you hard disk became fragment. install, uninstall or moving files will cause inefficient of disk usage. imagine when you remove something there is a hole/gap in there. as a result hard disk read/write head are work harder to read fragment file. to make this hole close you must do defragmentation on you hard disk. defragmentation will re-arrange you file closely each other so it will read faster. there is different defrag method but i’m not going further with this.

someone ask this question many times. some of my friends, college or from internet asking me how to insert video into power point presentation. this is very simple, take a look image below.

goto insert->movies and sound->movies from file. same goes to insert sound.

just insert any format that support by window i.e mpg, wmv. remember the bigger/long the video you insert, you presentation may lag. always remember this kind of file take a lot of memory space and processing time (i think that this is not an obstacle due to all computer now are develop for faster performance i.e hyper threading, ddr, front side bus, caching etc).

you have 2 option: start the video automatically when the slide take place or you click it manually. this depend on how you, do you presentation flow (switching).
