Is Microsoft really pay for forwarding email
This news are circular long time ago. I received this email several times and consider it as a hoax.
There is a story somewhere in April that Kansas man surprise when he received $10000 check from Microsoft by forwarding an email.
He stated,
“I thought it was a hoax” said Chris Miller of Wichita “but I played along and forwarded the e-mail to friends - I was amazed that 5 years later a check actually arrived in the mail!”
Below is a content of the email:

Subject: Fw: THIS IS NOT SPAM. BILL GATES IS SHARING HIS FORTUNE.
Dear Friend,
Please do not take this for spam. Bill Gates is sharing his fortune. If you ignore this you will repent later. Microsoft and AOL are now the largest Internet companies and in an effort to make sure that Internet Explorer remains the most widely used program, Microsoft and AOL are running an e-mail beta test.
When you forward this e-mail to friends, Microsoft can and will track it (if you are a Microsoft Windows user) for a two week time period. For every person that you forward this e-mail to, Microsoft will pay you $245.00, for every person that you sent it to that forwards it on, Microsoft will pay you $243.00 and for every third person that receives it, you will be paid $241.00. Within two weeks, Microsoft will contact you for your address and then send you a check.
Regards.
Microsoft claim that they are also confused by Miller’s claim.
A spokesman said “This could be a hoax of a hoax. Our records don’t show any check being dispatched to Wichita - however we appreciate Mr Miller in forwarding the e-mail - it really helped us out a lot.”
How far this genuine no one can conform. I think that i’m not the only one who get this such chain email.
