Now in its fifth year, the growing campaign has attracted a record number of entries for this year’s “# ialso100” line.
Presented by Small Business Britain – the UK’s leading champion for small businesses – f: Entrepreneur was launched in 2017 to spotlight the stories of amazing female businesses
owners and help provide inspiration and role models to the wider small business community.
Now in its fifth year, the campaign offers a host of events and training and networking opportunities to build skills, capacity and confidence.
Ada launched ADAVIRTUAL Business Support in 2015 and has since enjoyed great success with a small but strong team behind her including awards and accolades including being chosen as one of Small Business Saturday UK’s SmallBiz100 in 2020 and also become a South East England VA finalist of the year in 2020 and 2021.
The f: Entrepreneur ‘# ialso100’ line is particularly aimed at showcasing pioneering female founders who run businesses alongside a list of other responsibilities, such as volunteering, mentoring and community support. Many of the companies featured in this year’s campaign are also showing a huge commitment to the environment by championing sustainability.
Indeed, Ada has also been called upon to mentor women who aspire to start their own businesses by offering them individual coaching and mentoring; as well as training which they can access at their own pace.
She is also a volunteer mentor for Inspiring the Future, an organization that helps young people get a head start on their future, and as a business they support a local charity, Chailey Heritage Foundation, which provides services to education and care and is one of the UK’s leading centers for children and young people with complex neurological disorders.
From quantum computer engineers and vegan fruit growers, sustainability advocates and inclusive fashion designers, this year’s campaign celebrates inspiring and resilient women entrepreneurs who have thrived despite the challenges of recent years, with many. of them growing or starting new businesses.
